The Climate Change Education Project is an environmentalist 501(c)(3) organization [1] that works to promote left-of-center climate change advocacy. It is the fiscal sponsor of the More Than Scientists project. The organization is based in Seattle, Washington.
Both organizations are run by Eric Michelman, a former computer scientist for Apple and Microsoft turned entrepreneur who has become a climate change activist. [2]
The organization was founded in 2008. However, the 501(c)(3) tax status was not sought until 2014. [3]
