The Center for Civic Innovation is a nonprofit organization that purportedly seeks to improve the conditions of American cities and reduce inequality. 1

The Center for Civic Innovation has actively tried to distance itself from the Center for Civic Information, a different organization that was active in the Georgia Senate runoff election in 2020 and 2021. “It’s come to our attention that an organization with a very similar name, Center for Civic Information, is mailing letters to Georgia residents with information that “grades” how their neighborhood votes,” a statement on its website reads. “We don’t know anything about this organization and we are not affiliated with this organization, nor do we support any tactic that appears to shame people for how they’ve voted.” 2
