Field+Media Corps is an Arizona-based consulting firm that connects campaigns with racial and ethnic minority communities in the United States. During the 2024 U.S. presidential election, county election officials alleged that suspect voter-registration forms had been submitted to multiple counties in Pennsylvania; media outlets reported some were tied to the Field+Media Corps. 1 2 3
Background
Field+Media Corps was founded in 2017, primarily focusing on providing services to left-of-center organizations. Its programs include voter-registration drives, door-to-door programs, ballot-measure canvassing, petitioning, text campaigns, issue organizing, and coalition building. 1 4
Controversial Voter-Registration Submissions
Pennsylvania
In October 2024, the York County, Pennsylvania, Office of Elections received a delivery containing thousands of voter-registration forms from the Field+Media Corps. York County’s President Commissioner commented that there was “an overabundance of registrations from one particular organization,” raising concern as to the legitimacy of the registration forms. York County officials claimed that the Field+Media Corps voter-registration efforts were on behalf of the Everybody Votes Campaign, a program of the Voter Registration Project, which targets voters likely to lean left-of-center, such as African-Americans, Native Americans, and low-income Americans. 2
Reports of similar deliveries were made in Lancaster and Monroe Counties in Pennsylvania. Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso (D) claimed on social media that around 30 suspect voter-registration forms, some of which originated from the Field+Media Corps, were received in Monroe County. These forms allegedly included unauthorized registrations or the names of deceased people. 5
Upon review, the York County district attorney’s office concluded that 47% of the applications received in York County from the Field+Media Corps were legitimate and were subsequently approved, 29% were incomplete and were pending approval until applicants provided further information, and the remaining 24% were declined and undergoing additional review. Of the declined applications, 85% were found to be duplicate registration requests. 6
Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry (D) said in a press release on October 31 that the state was taking great measures to “ensure a fair, free, and safe election.” 7
As of November 1, 2024, the Field+Media Corps’ website, which was previously accessible, went down. An article from Fox News claimed that Field+Media Corps was a subsidiary of FieldCorps LLC. FieldCorps’ website was also down as of November 1, 2024. 7 8
The Voter Registration Project explained in a statement that it had not been contacted by officials from any of the Pennsylvania counties claiming to have received potentially fraudulent registration forms. 9
As of late November 2024, no charges had been filed by any Pennsylvania jurisdiction, though investigations were still ongoing in some counties. 3
Arizona
An investigation was referred to Maricopa County, Arizona, in 2023 after 24 voter registration forms originating from Field+Media Corps were flagged in Navajo and Mohave Counties in Arizona. The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office confirmed that the Field+Media Corps had submitted several voter-registration forms that contained incomplete or inaccurate information. 6
